 Osama’s dead, is God pleased?

Facebook and Twitter seems to be alive with debate and dispute right now as to how we should be feeling since the news of Osama Bin Laden’s death. How do you feel about it?

Personally, I feel really sad, I feel quite broken actually. I am not suggesting that his death was not the best way forward, maybe it was the only way forward? But, for christians to rejoice over this and celebrate it does concerns me.

Ezekiel 33 vs 11 clearly tells us that God takes NO pleasure when wicked people die.

The reason I wanted to write this is because I believe many christians right now are misrepresenting the heart of Father God and I also feel it burdens Him. Yes, wicked people will die and yes they deserve hell, like you and I also deserve hell, but, The Father NEVER delights, celebrates, rejoices or is even in the slightest bit pleased that yet another of His children, created for intimacy and holiness but stolen and corrupted by the enemy (Satan) is now in hell for all eternity.

If you had billions of children all running around doing there own thing their own way and ignoring you, even hating you and living totally against your will and plan for their life it would break your heart, you would search desperately for a remedy would you not?

When The Father sent The Son to die on a cross it was in a desperate bid to rescue our souls from the enemy and restore us back to The Father and that includes Osama Bin Laden.

Do I believe that a loving Father would permit the killing of Osama? Yes I do actually,  if all else had failed and he was still hell bent on murder and it was to protect the countless thousands of others being destroyed by Osama’s wickedness, yes, yes, yes, I can and do believe that, but, my entire point here is this; Is God pleased right now over his death? Do I believe that? No, I most certainly do not. I believe the Father will be mourning yet another lost son, as wicked as that son was.

In my opinion, I think that God right now is more interested in going after the evil, murderous spirit that was operating through Osama, a spirit that Osama has re-produced in countless others and who still walk this earth right now, full of extra venom over the death of their beloved leader and who now plot and seek revenge. Jesus walked the earth 2000 or so years ago and over a period of 3 1/2 years imparted His very D.N.A into 12 men who then went on to change the world entirely for the good, this same principle is in full operation now in the negative sense within the D.N.A of Osama Bin Laden’s disciples.

What are we going to do about that?

When Jesus commanded us to love our enemies He meant it. He did not say, but, if that enemy is especially wicked and killing countless thousands of others then hate your enemies and forget about praying for them.

Christians we must continue to love these people, pray for them, cry out to God for their salvation whether they deny Jesus and never ever turn from their wicked ways or not.

Let’s determine to bring to justice the evil spirits at work within Gods created sons and daughters and set the captives free, regardless of how high they are up the evil ladder of life.

Is God pleased that Osama is dead? I think not.

Will I continue to pray for, love and believe for a change of heart for all involved in this evil? Yes I will. The same way I will continue to pray for all those who have lost loved ones at the hands of Osama Bin Laden and his evil men. I will pray that their un-forgiveness and hurt will not bind them in this life and prevent them from eternal life.

Father, save and heal Your people as we call on Your name and seek Your face for revival in our world.

Satan, LET GOD’S PEOPLE GO!
